YEAR 9 EXCURSION TO TALLEBUDGERA AND BURLEIGH HEADLAND

The purpose of the excursion was to immerse the students in a sense of place.

The various environments provide ample stimulus to develop a major work back in the Visual Art studio to complete Course A.

The mangrove walk at Fleay's and the World Heritage listed Burleigh Headland National Park provides a diversity of natural environment and a look at man's interaction with it.

Over five weeks the students will create a visual storyboard in 4 to 8 frames with a narrative that uses the environment as the starting point.
